Bubba Wallace was born in Mobile, Alabama, to Darrell Wallace Sr. and Desiree Wallace on October 8, 1993. However, he was born and reared in Concord, North Carolina. Career

Early in Bubba Wallace’s career:
Wallace began racing at nine in the Bandolero and Legends car racing championships and local late model races. In 2005, Bubba won 35 of the 48 events in the Bandolero Series. He won at Franklin County Speedway in Virginia for the first time in 2008, making him the youngest driver to do it.

During Drive for Diversity / K&N Pro Series:
Wallace entered the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, a regional and developmental series, in 2010. Bubba Wallace was a part of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program, driving for Rev Racing. He won his maiden race in the series at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, making him the youngest ever winner, signed by Joe Gibbs Racing.   • In 2012: Bubba Wallace raced there in Xfinity Show for the first time at Iowa Racetrack in late May. Wallace got his first career Nationwide Series pole at Dover International Speedway in late September, after finishing in the top ten in his following two events in the series.

In 2017: On June 5, 2017, Richard Petty Motorsports declare that Wallace would take over the No. 43 Ford from injured Aric Almirola, becoming Wallace the first African-American to campaign in the Cup Series since Bill Lester in 2006. After being involved in a last-lap collision at Kentucky, Wallace finished 11th.

In 2018: After Aric Almirola announced his resignation from Richard Petty Motorsports, team president Richard Petty confirmed in an interview that he and the crew were attempting to recruit Wallace as the No. 43 racers in 2018. Investigation into the noose

NASCAR shared a photo of the noose obtained by security on June 25, 2020. In a teleconference later that day, Phelps said that NASCAR had inspected every garage at the sanctioning body’s 29 circuits, with 11 having pull-down ropes wrapped in knots, but only Wallace’s been to tie into a noose.
